OUTING. Students from Mbekweni who are members of the Mbeko Eco Club enjoyed an outing to Paarl Mountain Reserve to learn about the fauna and flora. They also collected seed from indigenous trees for propagating and re-planting in the reserve. The outing was sponsored by Paarl Rotary. At the centre are Lindsay Lewis, manager of the mountain reserve, and Rotary president Deon Erasmus.

VISIT. Elizabeth Davis of the Rotary International head office in Evanston, Illinois, paid an oversight visit to Paarl see how the club has managed its projects.
