Paarl Rotarians enjoyed walking down memory lane during their visit to Soetmelksvlei (formerly Donkerhoek), a farm adjoining Babylonstoren which has been developed as an agricultural museum.
Rotarians Marita van der Sluys, Deon Erasmus and his wife Rosario enjoyed the outing to a farm which was formerly the property of a Paarl Rotarian.
The manorhouse has been restored to its former glory.
In the cosy kitchen many happy days were recalled in front of the hearth.
