EYESIGHT.
The Rotary Club of Paarl has sponsored 164 pairs of spectacles for learners of New Orleans Secondary, who were on the waiting list for glasses at the Department of Health.

LAUNCH. Paarl Rotary Club has launched its sixth Interact club at a local high school: the Clift College Interact Club.The executive members of the club are (front from left) Bea van Schalkwyk, Elan Seba (president), Sabreen Samodien and Kirsty McGeorge. Behind them are (from left) teachers Kaylee Clark, Inge Wessels, Helen de Jager, and Steve Williams (principal), David Holzhausen (Rotary district representative) and Marita van der Sluys (president of Paarl Rotary). The Interact club is involved in community projects, including support of Bergendal Primary School as beneficiary partner.

A number of local learners attended the Rotary Adventure into Citizenship course over the school holidays. They are (from left) Mia-Mickay Steenkamp, Elan Seba and Kayla Lesch, seen here with Rotary president Marita van der Sluys. They spent a week in Cape Town and visited points of interest like the provincial parliament, the supreme court and local universities.
