WATER. The Mbekweni Eco Club launched their Wet Wednesdays programme, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Paarl, in cooperation with Drakenstein Municipality, to educate learners on the importance of water conservation and management.
Learners visited Drakenstein Municipality's water purification and management facilities, and came away with a new sense of responsibility towards our scarce water resources. Learners in Grade 6 and 7 from three Mbekweni schools (Langabuya, Imboniselo and Mbekweni Primary) participated.

EXCITEMENT. There was great excitement at the POP creche on the farm Just Trees in Nieuwedrift when Father Christmas arrived to hand out the Christmas gifts. The gifts were sponsored by Paarl Rotary.
