Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many people have lost their jobs. Paarl Rotary has assisted in the great need which resulted, and has donated funding to a variety of feeding schemes for food purchases. Here youngsters line up for lunch at the NorSA skills centre in Egoli, Wellington.
Hester Visagie (right) of Paarl Rotary recently presented a food voucher to Vanessa Adams of Fountain of Hope feeding scheme to assist during the pandemic.
Another happy recipient of a food voucher was Mandie Erasmus (centre) of the Heart organization in Paarl. Here she receives the voucher from Rotarian Hester Visagie. With them is Jean Swart (right), also of Heart. Paarl Rotary's donations to local organization ssince the beginning of the pandemic now totals R87 500.
