COUNSELLING FOR CHILDREN. A cheque for 1000 Euro from the Rotary Club of Bensheim in Germany was recently presented to Paarl Rotary by Rotarian Dr Albrecht Dörr, who hails from the Bensheim region. The donation is destined for the Royalty Project in Paarl which provides counselling to schoolchildren on pregnancy prevention and the dangers of social media predators. With him is club president Hester Visagie.

President Hester Visagie presented a food voucher for R5000 to Shireen Willemse, project manager of the Masazane soup kitchen in Mbekweni. Other NGOs received similar assistance.
