VISITORS. Two medical doctors, Dr Gisela Sleitz-Doerr and Dr Nelmarie Pitout, talk to senior students of Bergendal Primary in Agter Paarl while handing out reusable female hygiene products (washable Subzpads). Dr Pitout, head of the Royalty Project, visits local schools to promote female health and prevent teen pregnancies. Dr Sleitz-Doerr represented Rotary, who funded the donation. The Royalty Project (originally known as Girls' Talk) was founded by Paarl Rotary, with the help of a global grant, nearly four years ago, and is now an independent project.
