“It was a welcoming, family-oriented place and the food was good.”

The 3 partners responsible for this community service event on Saturday, November 09, 2019, extend their appreciation to the residents of Stittsville and area for their support. Chef Phil Bronsther (pictured above) and his colleagues of the Canadian Culinary Federation and culinary students from the Ottawa Mission and Paul Desmarais School demonstrated their talent in preparing the food and organizing the buffet line so each diner could easily proceed along the line and get the pasta of their choice, caesar salad and rolls. Stittsville Rotary provided the dessert and managed ticket sales and advertising while staff members of Paul Desmarais school hosted the event in their cafeteria.
Comments of the patrons were complimentary: “I loved the alfredo pasta best, but the meat sauce was pretty good too”, “the chocolate cake was really good”, and “I met lots of people I knew”.
Thank you, everyone, for helping us to help others in the community.
