16 teams came to play in the Stittsville Rotary Trivia Night and show their knowledge of little tidbits of information.  Everyone went home happy feeling like a genius and they were richer for the experience.

Did you know that the board game Trivial Pursuit was invented by 2 Canadians and launched in 1981? It went on to become one of the most successful board games of all time! If you know this little bit of information, you would have appreciated the mix of trivia organized by the Stittsville Rotary Club on Feb 21st.
128 people competed for glory in the 10 rounds of 10 questions. Not only did they have fun with their friends and the trivia questions taken from a wide variety of areas, many participants went home with a variety of big and small prizes from sponsors in the community. The top 4 teams generously donated their winnings back to the Rotary club – to be used for service projects to improve life in our community.
Rotarian Dave who was the MC and coordinator of the event put it this way: “The Rotary club appreciates the generosity of our community sponsors and the commitment of Friends of Rotary who volunteered and worked along with our members to make this a successful event. We were all winners last night!”
