Judy Campbell and Sue McCormick of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 618, spoke to us about the many Legion programs.
Their fundraising efforts support programs that serve veterans of military service, as well as bursaries, athletics, cadets and seniors in the community.
They also spoke in detail about the Legion's efforts t build a new building to replace their current one that is now outdated and no longer meets building code standards. Construction will start once approvals are received, hopefully in May. Fundraising is on-going.
