Every Rotary club in Ottawa and in the Ottawa Valley is making a donation to their local food bank or food initiative, donating a total of $10,000 to this worthwhile cause.

On April 25, 2022, the Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville gave another donation to the Stittsville Food Bank. We are pleased to help our local food bank support people during a period of rapidly rising food prices. Rotary clubs around Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley are also supporting food banks and free meal providers.  Together, they will donate over $10,000 for various food initiatives.
This is the beginning of a “Week of Action” initiative for Rotary clubs in District 7040. Our district extends from Montreal to Kingston and from northern New York State to the Ottawa Valley, and beyond.  One club hails from Iqaluit!  The District is providing financial support to help every club make a donation to a food-related charity or non-profit this week.  Rotary clubs throughout the District are expected to donate well over $60,000 to this worthwhile cause.
