Nancy Worsfold from Crime Prevention Ottawa

Amanda Cooke-Simpson introduced guest speaker Nancy Worsfold from Crime Prevention Ottawa 2015. Nancy told of their mission to build safer communities, contribute to crime reduction and enhance community safety in Ottawa. This is done by focusing on violence against women, youth at risk and certain neighborhoods. Crime Prevention Ottawa is governed and guided by a Board of Directors which is responsible for setting strategic direction. Stittsville City Councillor Shad Qadri is the Chair of Crime Prevention Ottawa Board of Directors. Councillor Qadri attended the meeting as well.
