Stittsville Rotarians cleaned WJ Bell Rotary Peace Park on Earth Day, April 22nd

Twice a year, thousands of Ottawa residents volunteer to keep our community spaces clean and make a difference in the community. According to Councillor Glen Gower, the Cleaning the Capital program marks its 32nd year of success, supported by community involvement and corporate sponsorship. In fact, in 2024, the campaign saw nearly 1,400 cleanup projects and over 49,000 participants. Stittsville was at the forefront of these efforts.
Stittsville Rotarians chose Earth Day on April 22, 2025 to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and make a positive impact on the community by cleaning litter in the WJ Bell Rotary Peace Park at 1751 Stittsville Main and surrounding area.
