Stittsville Rotary organized a Trivia Night fundraiser to benefit community service projects.
Stittsville Lions Hall was the site of a fundraiser organized by Stittsville Rotary on March 07, 2025. Rotarians, Friends of Rotary and volunteers looked after all the details of the trivia competition including free popcorn and pizza to make it a special event.
Special thanks to the 3 judges for keeping track through 10 rounds each with 10 trivia questions that were needed to declare a winner - and West Ottawa Rotary Club finished on top again. The top 3 teams generously donated their cash prizes back to support local community projects. Thank you all!
Co-President Dave Rooke, lead organizer of the event, commended the generosity of businesses and individuals in the community who donated more than 50 prizes for the event such as gift certificates, gift baskets, small appliances and tickets to the Stittsville Rotary TIFF winter film series.
Many of the 16 teams of 8 participate every year and they look forward to the annual event for the friendly competition and a good time for a good cause. Proceeds fund the Rotary’s community service projects such as the Stittsville Food Bank, Richmond Food Bank, Chrysalis House and high school awards. www.stittsvillerotary.com
