Community Partners with Youth (CPY) invites you to join us on April 6, 2021 for our Virtual Spring Event. Come and learn about how CPY has engaged youth through the pandemic and continues to help them succeed in school. We are thrilled to have Alan Page as the featured speaker and share his passion in education.

Many remember Alan as a Defensive Tackle for the Minnesota Vikings. During his NFL career, he earned All-Pro honors six times, voted to nine consecutive Pro Bowls, named the NFL's MVP in 1971, and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988.

Off the field, Alan pursued his education and graduated with a B.A in political science from the University of Notre Dame and received his J. D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1978. After law school, Alan worked as an attorney in Minneapolis and served seven years as an attorney for Minnesota's Attorney General.

In 1992, he won the election for the Minnesota Supreme Court becoming the first African American on the court and one of few associate justices to join through election. When re-elected in 1998, he became the biggest vote-getter in Minnesota history. He served on the court until mandatory retirement in 2015.

This is a free event; however this is a fundraising event and donations will be accepted. All proceeds will help CPY provide educational opportunities and build social and life skills for youth in our area.

*This event replaces our annual spring luncheon fundraising event.
