Welcome to the Rotary Club of Myerstown-Eastern Lebanon County Area

 
Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.
Projects and organizations we support:
  • Partner with the ELCO School District to sponsor the following programs:
    • High School Interact Club
    • Student-of-the-Month recognition during breakfast meetings
    • Students to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) conference
    • Scholarships for High School students pursuing post-secondary education
    • Four-Way Test Essay Contest for 9th-grade students
    • Holiday programs to support local families
  • Local community libraries
  • Local volunteer fire companies and fire police
  • Local parks and recreation areas
  • Myerstown Community Holiday Parade
  • National Night Out
  • On-Fire Youth Ministries
  • Scouting America
  • American Heart Association Heart Walk
  • Literacy projects in the community
  • Coordinate the “Flags for Heroes” program with flags displayed at Friedens Lutheran Church
  • International Well Project in El Salvador with over 70 wells installed
  • Sponsor three students at the Mortel Foundation School in Haiti
  • Food programs, including the Sharing Cupboard, Lebanon County Food Bank, and Raider Food Pantry
  • Donate 600+ turkeys to families through an annual Thanksgiving raffle
  • Provide matching funds for contributions to the Rotary Foundation
 
How we fund the projects and organizations we support:
Support and donations are made possible through our annual Rotary Auction, Thanksgiving turkey sales and raffle, and generous donations from Rotarians.
Myerstown-ELCO Rotary Students Attend RYLA
Congratulations to the eight ELCO High School rising seniors who were selected to attend the District 7390 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) at Messiah University in June.  We are proud of the impressive group of students who will be representing our Club!
