Dickinson College Peace Pole Dedication

Location: NW Corner of Stern Hall on W North Street (near Bosler Library)

Dickinson College, the Carlisle Rotary Clubs and the J. Sherwood McGinnis, Jr. War, Peace and Justice Project have proudly partnered on the installation of a Peace Pole, an international monument displaying the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in multiple languages, on campus.

When: Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 4pm, behind East College, 50 N. West St (rain: Stern Center, 208 W. Louther St).

The program will include remarks, a musical performance, and attendees may place a commemorative stone along the pathway as a symbol of our community’s commitment to global understanding and shared hope of a more peaceful future.
