As we head towards winter in Ballarat our members keep working hard to support others.
The Community Care Centre here in Ballarat is a wonderful example of what is possible when people come together with a focus on supporting others. The Centre is operating to help those in need often in very challenging circumstances and is making a real difference to the lives of these people.
Several of our club members are about to head to Vanuatu for some hands on involvement using paint and paint brushes on a medical clinic. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Port Vila for helping make this happen. Safe travels to those going.
It is an example of how Rotary and our club works internationally as well as locally and nationally.
Finally, our thoughts are with those who are still grappling with the recent natural disasters. Rotary, as always, is providing support to these people and their communities.
