Selma and Kim are two first year teachers at Emmanuel College who were nominated by their colleagues. - Teaching a diverse range of subjects and year levels across the curriculum, Selma demonstrated an appetite for ensuring each of her students has the best chance of achieving personal bests. Selma is invested in her classes and her homeroom, proactively making contact with parents to cement the home/school partnership. She worked very hard to support student engagement and connection to school during remote learning. She is to be commended on her start to her teaching career.
- Kim worked very hard with her students and their families during remote learning this year to develop a positive and inclusive environment for the students. Kim used all of her health and well-being knowledge to provide students and their families with practical ideas for remaining healthy during the lockdowns. Kim has embraced the diversity of the year levels that she has taught and the work that she has undertaken, she is to be congratulated on a wonderful start to her teaching career.
