As 2017 is fast approaching, Rotary South wrapped up 2016 with activity, service, and celebration. In early December we were visited by incredibly impactful programs and organizations such as Lutheran Social Services and The Teddy Bear Den.

On December 21, our club members had the opportunity to serve 366 guests at The Banquet, including 51 children. The club also matched Happy Buck donations from the December 19 meeting, and we were able to donate $579 to go toward the meal on December 21. Being able to spend time and share a meal with members of the Sioux Falls community was both rewarding and humbling.

Finally, Rotary South celebrated the holidays together on December 19 with a Christmas party. Games were played and all members went home with a gift from the White Elephant exchange.

We are proud to have the opportunity to have fun and work together within and throughout our community as we continuously strive toward the ideal of service above self. Cheers to the new year!
