The 2017-18 President of Rotary International, Ian Riseley, has asked Rotary clubs to show their commitment to addressing climate change by planting a tree for every member. Join all the San Francisco clubs as we plant up to 500 trees in one day.

Beginning at 8:30 AM, we’ll meet at Balboa High School with SF Department of Public Works Urban Forestry. They will provide the trees and equipment; Rotary provides the manpower and enthusiasm. Light lunch will be provided for all participants. Be sure to wear light clothing, closed toe shoes and bring gloves.

Please wear a Rotary shirt if you have one! If not ask the members at the event how to get a new shirt.

When the planting is done, we will meet at Ocean Ale House, 1314 Ocean Ave. to celebrate.

Rotarians, Family and Friends, come join the Planting Platoon!

Please RSVP on the District 5150 website.
