Program Speaker:

Kent Campbell is a Strategist for Reputation X, a reputation management services company that helps brands defend against fake news, build online reputation, and increase search visibility online. He has over ten years of consultative sales and technical marketing experience and specializes in search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and reputation management.

Kent has been a Rotarian for over a decade. He served as president of the Rotary Club of Ventura South in Southern California and is now the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Mill Valley.

Kent’s presentation today entitled “Engineering Influence” explores the origins of fake news, how it is created, who creates it, and how to spot bogus online content.  He will take us on a stroll through the dark side of the web where stolen identities, online viruses, and imaginary people can be bought and sold.
