Community Service Project - One Hard Thing

One Hard Thing is one of SF Evening's signature projects. We helped create this project with Next Village, a non-profit that provides various services and activities for elderly people in San Francisco, and it is even being emulated at some of their other sites now! 

This project gives our club an amazing opportunity to get to know and assist our local seniors by doing "one hard thing". Tasks such as changing lightbulbs, flipping mattresses, or dusting (easy for us to do, difficult for seniors) may be on your roster of tasks for the day. 

Please RSVP so that we have an accurrate headcount! 

Day of details:

Please wear comfortable clothing and close-toes shoes.

We will convene at 11am at a place TBD in North Beach to receive our list of addresses. We will then break into groups of 2-3 and go help our seniors! All homes are located in the North Beach area. 

Volunteering ends at 1:30 and we will reconvene to eat, drink, and share stories.
