Orewa Disaster Preparedness Open Day

Posted by Craig Horrocks

Last Saturday we had our pilot open day at Orewa.
It was a great success and a further report will be provided to the Club at a Club meeting.
We had support from Club menbers and our AGS Interactors on the day.
Special thanks are due to members Monika Levinson and Greg Sayers, the AGS Interact Club and  our partners:
  • The CHIP-In Foundation
  • Auckland CDEM
  • The Rotary Club of Orewa
  • The Rotary Club of Westhaven
  • Massey University.
The initiative was commended in the joint Civil Defence and responders meeting at Auckland Council.
