Meeting - 11th March 2019
Many thanks to Vice President Alan Williams for organising the meeting at the Scout Hall, North Goolwa on March 11th.
We had a BBQ of Sausages, vege burgers, salads & sweets helped down by a few glasses of Red or white thanks to several members.
Alan Williams advised that we made approximately $700 at the Rotary BBQ at the Fringe Festival in Goolwa. It was well patronised and lots of fun. Thanks to Alan & Greg for cooking, Tony McWhinney and Helga for serving and Noeline taking the money.
Averil asked about the collecting of Ring pulls used in making artificial limbs overseas. Maybe if we collected the cans we could make more money. It was agreed that this need further investigation.
Greg notified the club members present about the status of the Goolwa Christmas Festival committee and the progress on updating the constitution to reflect how the committee works and has done so for many years. Much discussion followed and was referred back to the Committee and the annual meeting to be held on March 18th.
