The new Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club rooms are a joint venture between GSLSC, the Alexandrina Council and the State Government
The GSLSC rooms are part of a master plan for the area at the end of Beach Rd.
the rest of the plan is to upgrde the car park and build a new restaurant.
A concept of the master plan can be seen HERE.
The total cost of the project is around $4m which includes the professional fees and site works as well as the building.
The building also houses the new public toilets.
Our Club is fitting out the First Aid room. Although the final cost has not been determined, the Builder has advised the cost for the First Aid Room fit out included in their offer is $26,500. The Building items for First Aid Room are Joinery, Air conditioning, footbath, hand-basin, floor coverings etc. The Club has an existing supply of first aid equipment and will determine what other equipment is required to make the First aid room operational. The Club will advise us formally of the First Aid room fit out cost and our contribution will be required in late February next year as the Project is expected to be completed in March 2019.
