Duncan Norris, Wendy Lippett and Noeline Biermann on behalf of the Rotary Club of Goolwa recently handed over 4 Backpack Beds, for those sleeping rough and 10 Sleeping Bags, for those couch surfing, to Mary Mcinnes of Whalers Peninsula Community Housing for use in the Fleurieu. The Australian designed Backpack Beds have won 7 International awards for design and with the onset of winter not only are lightweight and comfortable but assist greatly in improving both health and dignity of the recipient.
Demand for the Backpack Beds is so strong that orders are currently limited to the 4 purchased by the club.
