The Rotary International Garden donated by The Rotary Club of Springwood Inc. located inside Buttenshaw Park Springwood has proven a favourite with our members, the local community and visitors to the Blue Mountains.  The garden has been designed by the Rotary Club working in conjunction with the Blue Mountains Sister City Committee.

Members of the Rotary Club assisted by members of the Blue Mountains Sister City Committee, took the original garden bed that had become overgrown and neglected and took it back to basics, redesigning the plant layout, preparing the soil and finally undertaking the planting.  This took many working bees and many hours of enjoyable gardening.
The Rotary Club through a State Government Community Grant organised for the purchase and installation of a picnic bench and a park bench around the garden to increase the enjoyment for visitors to the gardens.  The park bench was dedicated to two founding and continuing members of the Rotary Club of Springwood, Alan Cameron and Fred Thompson.
The park is now enjoyed by the public and it is great to see it being used for family parties.
