We have had to change how we do things for Rotary Meetings. We have been doing all our meetings via Zoom and have taken the opportunity to bring in speakers we would otherwise not be able to have join us.
Although some of our fundraisers such as Golf Ball Drop and Chocolate and Nut trays did not happen we are still doing fairly well. We do have an account set up at SARCAN at the Drop and Go. Sarcan has a program called "drop & go" where the proceeds from the recyclables can be donated to charitable organizations. The process for us works like this:
- you take your recyclables to Sarcan and go to the "drop & go door" located on the southwest side of the building
- once inside, you go to computer screen, use "Weyburn Rotary" as the login name and then follow the instructions on the screen
- Sarcan will then process your recyclable drop off and send an etransfer to Rotary
We are also able to provide some financial assistance to groups or projects. On the left of the Home Page is a downloadable form for Financial Assistance. Please fill out and mail to the club at the address on the form.
