Fund Raising
Fundraising--or "fun-raising" with the right attitude--is a key activity the Saskatoon Rotary Club uses to make our work possible. None of our Rotary projects--in the community (local or global) or for youth--happen without money. The more money-the more we can do.
The Rotary Club of Saskatoon North participates in a variety of fundraising activities, many in cooperation with other clubs and organizations.
One of our key fundraisers is Ag-in-Motion. Our members provide all services related to the beverage/Burger tent at this well-attended July Saskatoon area event. This fun, but labour-intensive fundraiser is a source of funds, and it allows us to interact with the public.
Another fundraising event that our club has been involved with for many years is the Annual Steak Night and raffle. We also celebrate the Chinese New Year by eating out to raise a little money.
