Hello Everyone,
On Thursday, May 26, our incoming president team, Rob Maguire & Kathy Jo Simmie presented plans for the 2022 - 23 Rotary year beginning July 1.
If you were not in attendance...here are the important things you need to know
#1. Our annual fees are changing. After much healthy debate, it was agreed that it is necessary to raise our fees to $325.00 per year. If you would like to see a copy of the presentation that was voted on please contact Rob and he is happy to share that with you. rwjmaguire@icloud.com
#2. It was agreed by the membership in attendance, that we would continue in the 2022 - 23 Rotary year with biweekly meetings.
The schedule will be:
July 7 President's BBQ,
July 19,20&21 Work the food tent at Ag in Motion
August.........we take a pause from meeting to allow for summer camping and travel or whatever
September.......meetings at the Travelodge resume September 8
September 22 Steak Night at Sami's Sunrise Grill: Tickets available now
October 6 & 20
November 3 & 17
December 1 & 15th will be our Christmas party.
No Meetings in January...........go somewhere warm!
February 2 & 16
March 2, 16 & 30
April 13 & 27
May 11 & 25
June 8 & 22
The plan will also include some hands on service in the community on the weeks when we are not meeting at the Travelodge.
BUT.......REMEMBER we are not yet finished with this Rotary year yet.............
Plan to join us on June 9 at the Travelodge........as we get to hear one of our new members, Jeff Parker, (transferring from Oakville, Ont) as he shares his life story with us
