Please SAVE THESE DATES! 4/22/21 at 7:30pm at the PYC Clubhouse for a Safety and Training Meeting and 4/24/21 for the West Sound Sailing Association "Poulsbo Invitational".
Race Day is Saturday, April 24. The “event” is a real sailboat race, where points are awarded, trophies, etc. The “Poulsbo Invitational” and is the fourth of six races in the West Sound Series.
There are three classes: divisions I and II are for boats with a current PHRF handicap and division III is the “cruising class” with no PHRF certificate needed. Despite what the entry form says, PYC boats pay no entry fee. However, all PYC boat owners need to fill out their entry form. If you do not know what your boat’s handicap should be, the committee will assign a handicap for division III boats.
On Thursday April 22 at 7:00pm, Mike Milburn and Terry Dolan will give a short description of how the event will look and briefly discuss the most important rules . If you are new to racing, you are welcome to come just learn about it!
