School Nutrition Workers have been preparing meals for students that would have received breakfast and/or lunch at school before the current pandemic forced the students to stay home. Our Interactors planned a project to put together some goodie bags for the Nutrition Staff and made gift baskets to deliver to the Escondido Union School District and the Escondido Union High School District staffs.
Our local heroes, Sharon Clark and Monica Lee, supervised the work, purchased the goodies and helped to assemble the baskets. It was a challenge, but our Interactors were able to maintain social distancing while assembling the baskets. A collage of photos holding thank you's was made and included with the baskets for each school.
A special "Thank You!" to Mrs. Lilia Vergara and Dr. Bronn’s Products for the hand sanitizers, soap and lip balms they donated for the baskets.
Our After Fivers, of course, stepped up to make the deliveries to the schools and all the recipients were so grateful to be remembered.

San Pasqual, Orange Glen and Escondido High Schools
Del Dios Academy, Mission, Rock Springs and Rincon Middle Schools
Central, Glen View, Oak Hill, Juniper, and Farr Avenue Elementary Schools
