When you mix Ice Cream Social with Zymurgy, you get an Ice Cream Zocial, and what it really means:
Brandy Alexanders!
It's summer, so let's keep this simple, by planning to use the following main ingredients:
Vanilla ice cream
Kahlua
Brandy
Some members have agreed to provide some Kahlua and Brandy, but everyone should bring ice cream. (A pint makes about 4 servings)
If you want other ingredients in your drink, great! Bring it with. (Some people might like cinnamon, creme de cacao, strawberry liqueur, whipped cream, etc.)
We will have a blender, but another one or two will help keep everyone supplied with drinks quicker.
Of course, please bring a food dish to share, as well.
If you want to reply to this email and let me know you plan to attend, that would be helpful so we know how much brandy we will need. If you decide at 4:59 on Friday to show up, do it! Guests are welcome.
