The City Council received enthusiastic public comment at its June 19 meeting regarding the YMCA long-term lease proposal for the city surplus property at the Wallace Kneeland Blvd & Shelton Springs Road intersection. It was standing room only in the Council Chambers as local Realtors®, EDC officials, YMCA volunteers and long-time business leaders expressed their support for a vote to move forward. The Council has scheduled the Y deal for action on July 10 – please mark your calendar!
