In the last month our club members have visited two other Rotary Clubs and exchanged flags as a symbol of friendship. Fernanda went all the way to Istanbul to visit their oldest club - one that was founded in 1956 and is still men only. She spoke with them about our district's model UN program and hopes to have a team from Istanbul there in 2019!

Sarah D. also visited another club, the Tomball Rotary Club in Houston, TX. Founded in 1945, this club is still very traditional (though does allow women). They sing, pray, and say the Texas pledge at the beginning of every meeting. Their club President is a true Texas character, as you can see below:
