San Diego Coastal Rotary Club members and friends volunteered at the SDMBBSC (San Diego Mission Bay Boat and Ski Club) monthly Blind Ski Clinic on Fiesta Island last weekend. Volunteers from SD Coastal helped with check-in, sign-ups for the different activities, lifejackets, swimming in the ocean, and assisted participants on and off the boats and tubes. A few volunteers even rode on the boats, communicating the riders' hand signals to speed up/slow down to the driver. The list of activities available included boat rides, intertubing, water skiing, and disc rides. We had a huge turnout both from participants and volunteers, and everyone had a great time!
