14 Rotarians came together to volunteer at the Casa Hogar Monte Horeb all boys orphanage in Valle De Guadalupe, MX. We spent all day working in 90+ degree heat to build a much needed staircase and paint the boys' kitchen and chapel. We had lunch with the boys and got to hear their stories about how long they had been there and what their goals in life are. Near the end of the day we presented them with some supplies that all teenage boys need (deodorant, shampoo, etc). As a lot of us know, that type of bonding over a shared love of service is what makes Rotary so meaningful. After a hard day of work we enjoyed a lovey dinner and watched the Mayweathr McGregor fight in Ensenada. Sunday we explored La Bufadora and everyone got home safe and sound. Another fun volunteer trip in the books!
