Lone Star Circle of Life Celebration Dinner

For the past 25 years, The Lone Star Circle of Life has worked to provide information and education throughout Texas about blood, marrow, stem cell, organ and tissue donation. Our purpose is to increase the number of donors in Texas which will save lives.  The Bike Tour team consists of about a dozen cyclists who travel throughout the state one week each year to accomplish this goal. The riders and support team have either been donors themselves, received a donation, have a family member who has been a donor or recipient or have been supporters of donation for many years.  Debbie Mabry is tour coordinator, and Debbie Fendrick is the pace car driver.

Membership is being asked to help provide a meal for the LSCOL team, honorees, and attending Altrusans.   Event is at Sammons Community Center, 2220 W. Avenue D, Temple, Friday, Oct 6th.  Altrusans should arrive 5:45 to help set up; event starts 6:30, and we also need help with clean-up afterward.  Team members and honoree families are 45 and with 15--20 Altrusans attending, we expect around 60 for dinner.
