Christmas on the Farm

I am the chair of this project, however, I have tickets to go out of town on Saturday. So I could use a few volunteers to help Marsha at the Mrs. Claus booth on Saturday.

The doors open Saturday, Dec 3 at 8:30 a.m., so the first volunteers please arrive by 8:00 a.m.  Check in at the Volunteer Desk for ‘Ms. Claus Booth #42’. In the past, the children signed a guest book then climbed the stairs to sit and visit with Ms. Claus.  Many of the parents want pictures so we can offer to take those.  The main responsibilities of volunteer Altrusans are to visit with the children waiting in line, assist them in signing the guest book (they use a giant pencil that is rather difficult to use), and maneuver the stairs. We need at least one volunteer helping Marsha during the day on Saturday.

The doors will close at 5:00 p.m. Altrusans will then undecorate the booth and reflect on yet another wonderful, completed project ;-)
