Bookcase Work Day for MADD

This will be the first of 3 workdays to make bookcases from pallets. The bookcases will be placed in the Childrens Play Room at The Well. Co-Chair Angela Cases has a simple plan to assemble, sand, and paint to make the bookcases. We need your help!

Wear your old clothes and closed-toed shoes, bring your Altrusan spirit, work gloves and, if by any chance you have a belt sander, please bring it! Barb has safety glasses and dust masks.

Barb Pearcy has graciously invited us to do this work in her barn in Morgans Point (50 Stirrup Drive). Barb's number is 254-598-9983. Just to let you, most GPS systems are a little confused about this area, so here are 2 possible routes:

From Temple: Come west on Adams to FM 317, turn right, continue to FM2483 where you turn right, then turn right on Lake Forest, right on Stirrup.

From Belton, coming across the Dam Rd, continue straight on to Morgan's Point Rd. Turn right at FM 2483 (near the liquor store), then turn left on Lake Forest the right on to Stirrup. 50 Stirrup will be on the left.

Drive into her property and the barn is on the left.
