Dianne Crawford


 

Dianne is an accomplished Rotary leader with a strong commitment to community service. Joining Rotary in 1997, she is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Southeast San Diego, serving as Club President, Secretary and Board member. For more than 50 years the club has served the needs of the underserved community in Southeast San Diego, consistently earning the Rotary Citation for their exceptional work. Dianne's passion for education shines through her involvement in leadership projects and Rotary programs like RYLA, LEAD, and Interact, aimed at developing future leaders.

 Her professional career spans 15 years as Director of Sales for several national telecommunications companies, where she excelled in managing sales and support teams, achieving revenue growth and market share expansion. Subsequently, as Director of Major & National Accounts for Language Line Services, the largest provider of language interpretation services in the US, she successfully managed account teams and the company's prestigious Fortune 100 clients including American Express, Bank of America, AT&T, Microsoft, Citibank, Amazon and more.  .

Currently working as a Sales & Management Consultant, Dianne offers her expertise to small and mid-size clients, providing guidance in sales, customer support, business planning, organization and training. With over 20 years of service on District 5340's Leadership Team, Dianne has held diverse roles, including Assistant Governor, Membership Chair, Strategic Planning Chair, New Club Development, and  facilitator for  Rotary Leadership Institute  and President Elect Training.

Her contributions to District Operations, combined with her unique and creative approach to business and comprehensive knowledge of Rotary, have led to significant improvements in District programs and club support. Recognized for her dedication, Dianne has received multiple awards, including Rotarian of the Year, for her instrumental role in membership growth and the establishment of new clubs.

As the selected District Governor for the 2024/2025 Rotary year, Dianne is excited & ready to lead one of the largest and most successful Districts in the Rotary organization.   Residing in San Diego, CA, with her husband Michael, Dianne cherishes spending time with her son Regis and grandson Kingston, as well as visiting her family at home on the beautiful island of St. Martin in the Caribbean.

Eric Hays is the Human Services and Open Space Coordinator with the City of Santee. Eric previously worked for the San Diego Police Department for 34 1/2 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 2019.  Eric has been a resident in the City of Santee since 1972, having attended both Elementary and High School here. He is married, and has 3 teenagers who currently attend school in Santee.
