July is membership month for many professional organizations and OAPSA is pleased to continue its longstanding and valued organizational affiliation with the National Association of Pupil Services Administrators (NAPSA). Both OASPA and NAPSA have historically been highly respected members of our nation’s pupil services community.
So, as OAPSA continues its affiliation with NAPSA, we are making a couple of changes. New this year, the membership application is separate from our OAPSA membership drive. Attached and linked here is the NAPSA membership application specific for OAPSA members to ensure the affiliate rate is maintained with this new process.
While NAPSA offers many member benefits, perhaps the greatest benefit is professional liability insurance coverage as part of its membership. Also, in keeping with its rich tradition of excellent professional development opportunities, NAPSA will hold its annual national conference from October 20–23, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor. We are excited to continue our affiliation with NAPSA as it represents our
shared interests at the National level, which is an increasingly important task. All OAPSA members are encouraged to renew or join NAPSA to keep our help ensure that our collective pupil services voices are heard.
