When Jennifer Strong walked onto the stage at the McClellan Conference Center to open the Annual District 5130 Conference held this past weekend, we knew we about to feel…. “Where Dreams Take Flight’…. And true to form the dynamic Jennifer never wavered!  Under District Governor, Bob Rogers guidance, she kept the conference “flying” at a pace we all appreciated.
 
While focusing on the theme that… One person’s idea can make a HUGE difference… we proved that over 300 Rotarians and friends can make a successful conference.  That we did!

TREE PLANTING PROJECT KICKS OFF IN FINE STYLE

 
Saturday, April 14.....A group of Rotarians assembled at Lucchesi Park, with shovels, rakes and their brauns, to help kick off the tree planting project with a big assist from Mother Nature under sunny skies and a beautiful Spring Day. The project, funded through a District Matching Grant, will add to the beauty of our city parks. 
 
 

Farmers and Merchants Night 2018

Our annual Famers & Merchants Night dinner carried on a tradition that dates back to the 1940's. Despite pouring rain, everyone was greeted by warm smiles.

2018 Community Awards of Excellence,
Our very own club president Chris Ranney was crowned, "Citizen of the Year".   Chris was presented by Joanne Ferris and the following was her introduction.
 

 

 
We come together this evening to recognize some individuals and businesses for making a difference in our lives.   We have stepped out of our individual silos and arenas to gather as a community.  
 
What a great way to spend our time!  And let’s take a moment to acknowledge
