Preparing for the Children's Holiday Gifts starts in February every year with events like the crab feed, golf tournament and raffle tickets to help fund the program.  Along with support from the North Bay Association of Realtors, our Petaluma Rotary Club begins ramping up our holiday gift giving between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Our Petaluma Rotary Club is proud to be a member of the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, headed up by our own Onita Pellegrini.  At the Chamber's recent 2018 Business Expo, our Rotarians Anne Gealta, Mike Ambrosio and Elias Husary (not pictured) enjoyed hosting our booth at the Lucchesi Community Center.   As business, professional and community leaders we always look forward to mingling with our local businesses.  We are always on the lookout to discover the needs and opportunities to help others, and we are passionate to share our Rotary stories about our contributions to support our community, reduce suffering around the world and build fellowship while having fun with our colleagues.

And how about you?  Are you ready to join our 70 Club members and 1.2 million leaders around the world who work together to make the world a better place while building friendships, networks and receiving training?  Great - contact us by clicking on the "Get Involved/Contact Us" link above on the Menu Bar.   And believe it or not, there really are  free lunches (up to 3) on Thursday's for qualified guests who are interested to learn more about joining our Club!  But wait there's more - if you like to learn about what's going on in the community from local community leaders, you'll love our Rotary meetings where our guest speakers share their knowledge and wisdom!
No such worry....’Tee It High. Let It Fly’ was the slogan adopted by the nattily attired Golfers who assembled at the Petaluma Country Club for the annual Petaluma Rotary Golf Tournament, Monday, Sept. 10 accompanied by bright sunshine and cool breezes..ideal weather conditions.  The check-in table was a buzz with warm greetings, hugs and laughter among the Rotarians, friends and associates who were treated to a savory, sportsmen like luncheon prior to Tee-Off. Hats off to fellow Rotarians Bill Groverman, Jay Palm and Ralph Sartori for tending to the tasty food.

Shortly thereafter the 15 teams of players took off in their golf carts to the Shotgun Start at the 9 hole course. In addition to playing the course, most of the golfers tried their putting skills on the practice green. Several did manage to nail the hole in one and had a playoff which was eventually won by Bill Johns. (additional list of winners below)

The old adage, “my golf game is improving. I miss the hole nearer now!” was attributed to most of the players.
