Our Model UN Team from Cal Coast Academy 2019: EJ Campbell, Advisor, Erik Kokke, Kamila de la Fuente, Peyton Spicker.
On Jan 26 we attended the Model UN orientation where we learned of the 2 resolutions to be debated this year.
1) How to address the issue of TB for the out break in the Philippines after a fatal hurricane
2) Whether the UN General Assembly should take the vote away from the Security council on the issue human rights abuses in Myanmar and Syria.
We also chose from the "Mad Hatter" 's hat our country to represent this year. Syria was drawn. Now down to work!
