San Diego Green Building Council is a community of over 250 members working together to inspire, educate and collaborate to create a better world through better buildings. They catalyze local action to meet building industry's global efficiency, climate, and resiliency goals. 

Join the San Diego Green Building Council as they discuss the current state of green building in the San Diego Region and highlight their education and program offerings. Plus discover ways to get involved as a volunteer and have an impact on the built environment.

Josh Dean, CEM, USGBC Faculty, Fitwel Ambassador
Josh is the Executive Director of the San Diego Green Building Council. In this role, he oversees the daily operations and strategic direction of the organization, ensuring that it carries out its mission to inspire, educate and collaborate within our community to transform the built environment toward true sustainability. He has over 12 years of professional experience working in the sustainability, construction and real estate fields. Josh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, is pursuing a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University, and is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP O+M. He has managed a number of local energy and LEED projects with a focus towards community education and driving regenerative design.
