A family of five in the middle of San Diego lives a zero-waste lifestyle by growing their own food, going plastic-free, and doing their part to tackle climate change.

Solana Beach ECO Rotary Club supports projects that implement ideas to confront climate change and support environmental sustainability

 

All proceeds from this event will go to ProduceGood, a volunteer organization that upscales excess food to feed the hungry, solving both the problem of hunger and food waste. A representative will answer questions about their work.

To date, they have rescued 741,050 lbs and provided over 2 million servings of fresh fruits and vegetables to San Diego’s food insecure, diverting over 370 TONS of edible produce from entering the landfill.
