About The Rotary Foundation

During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.  It is involved in projects that support Rotary’s seven Areas of Service:

 
  • Peace and conflict prevention/resolution.
  • Disease prevention and treatment.
  • Water and sanitation.
  • Maternal and child health.
  • Basic education and literacy.
  • Economic and community development.
  • Supporting the Environment.

Rotary is proud that, through donations to the Foundation, it has eradicated 99.9 percent of all polio cases.  The Foundation also assists in training future peacemakers, supports clean water projects, and strengthens local economies.

 

Our members are expected to donate to the Rotary Foundation each year as part of the worldwide Every Rotarian Every Year program.
