The Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club sponsored a team from Cal Coast Academy to the District 5340 Model United Nations event at the Del Mar Civic Center.
Students at high schools from all across the district came together for a two-day conference to debate two resolutions: (1) Actions to address global food insecurity and its disproportionate impact on women; and (2) Prevention of an arms race in space and continued peaceful and sustainable space exploration.
