After a long break, the County of San Diego Parks & Recreation allowed volunteers to come back to their parks!

August 23rd was the first time back in the game for our Eco-Rotarians. We removed invasive plants and beautified the butterfly garden. On September 20th we did the same in the vegetable garden. Both areas have a beautiful arch covered with passion fruit plants.

Below are all the beautiful pictures taken during those volunteering times!

Come join us for a great outdoor experience, we volunteer once a month, see our calendar to know when is the next Community Service at San Dieguito Park.

Our favorite park ranger, Alejandro, wrote a piece for the newsletter of the County Parks & Recreation featuring our club. You can see the document here, everything is awesome to read but I would recommend page 7!
